About This Event

Grand Designs Live is the consumer show inspired by the Channel 4 programme, offering hands-on inspiration for self-builders, renovators, and home improvers. The four-day event at ExCeL London features hundreds of exhibitors across Build, Kitchens & Bathrooms, Technology, Interiors, and Gardens. Dates & Opening Hours

1-4 May 2026 (Bank Holiday weekend). Doors open at 10:00am and close at 5:00pm daily.

Getting There

By Tube/Rail: Custom House station (Elizabeth line and DLR) is at the west entrance. A 2-minute walk. Prince Regent (DLR) serves the east entrance. The Elizabeth line is the fastest route from central London.

By Bus: Routes 147, 241, 300, 325, 473, and 678 serve the area. Prince Regent Bus Station is a 4-minute walk from the east entrance.

By Car: On-site parking has 3,070 spaces at £27.50/day pre-booked (£30 on the day). Access is via Royal Albert Way (A1020). The venue is inside the ULEZ zone.

Tip: Pre-book parking at least 24 hours ahead to guarantee a space. London City Airport is a short DLR ride away if you're flying in.

Tickets & Registration

Paid entry at £12-14 plus £1.70 booking fee. However, thousands of free promotional codes are available. Search for codes like HOAL26 or MSEFREE before buying. Effectively free for most visitors who plan ahead.
